Venice Film Festival Plays Howl’s Moving Castle

As reported by Anime News Network, the latest movie from Hayao Miyazaki was shown at the Venice Film Festival on Sunday. The film is competing for top prize, the Golden Lion.

Miyazaki was not able to attend the festival because of health issues, but Toshio Suzuki was there. Suzuki said he was “deeply moved” by the reported six-minute standing ovation the film recieved.
